About
The Quest Small Groups Ministry is designed for single adults to hear God’s voice through the study of His word and build healthy relationships in a like-minded community.
Quest is open to all single adults who are looking to learn about the bible while “growing” in their faith as a Christian. Each Quest small group is made up of approximately 10 people, and can be co-ed, all-male, or all-female. These groups meet weekly to study God’s Word, and strive to build a small community within the church.
See the Spring Groups page on this site for a list of all on-going groups and the days/nights and times each one meets.
Our History
Quest began in the Fall of 2007 as the new small group ministry for single adults. Quest followed a very successful small group ministry called Micah 6:8, which provided nearly 20 years of ministry to single adults. Quest was launched with a new format that included co-ed groups, multiple study material options, a large age range (20-59), and a renewed focus on making the study of the Bible the primary focus. With this redesigned format, hundreds of single adults have come to be a part of this dynamic small group ministry. Each year, Quest hosts three semesters: Fall, Spring, and Summer. Each semester has different curriculum opportunites with at least five electives to choose from. The Quest Small Group Ministry is sponsored by the Singles Ministries of Mariners Church in Irvine, CA.
